Panoramas are a fun and easy way to capture a "place." It's hard to not have encountered panoramas in our modern society; every smart probably comes with a panorama app built in. There are some photographers who specialize in shooting panoramas. Have fun with them, and don't forget about this amazing alternative to the traditional photograph.
While it's fun to utilize an "app" to make quick panoramas, in class we learn how to manually build them in photoshop. The example above demonstrates how about 10 images were brought into one. You can see the edges between the individual images clearly in this example.
